Mr. Nguyen Duc Than chairs  the Firm as a registered  patent attorney. Mr. Than’s area practice includes all aspect of intellectual property law from registration, transfer, to opposition, appeals and litigation including patent, industrial design, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition, anti-piracy programs. Mr. Than has a great depth of knowledge and experience at the cutting edge of innovation and technology. Mr. Than has been also heavily involved in enforcement actions. He obtained Bachelor of Science degree in mechanics from the Hanoi Polytechnic Institute in 1959 and the same from Romania in 1960. Mr. Than has been forty years of experience in intellectual property field.  

Prior to entering Ageless IP Attorneys & Consultants, he was with the National Office of Industrial Property of Vietnam (NOIP) as Deputy Director and Acting Director for twelve years when it was still the National Office of Invention in 1976. He was also Vice-Chairman of the Diplomatic Conference for the Conclusion of the Madrid Protocol held in Madrid in 1989. Mr. Than has ever been a superior counselor for many intellectual property law firms. His working languages are Vietnamese, Chinese, English and French.

Mr. Than is one of very few people who designed the first writing legal on the Intellectual Property Matters of Vietnam. Also, he is the first specialist in the intellectual property field with the NOIP from its foundation date.       

Mr. Than is admitted to practice before the NOIP.
